CONSERVATION &
BEAUTIFICATION SUBCOMMITTEE
The mission of the Beautification and Conservation Subcommittee is to present its recommendations to the Planning Corporation to enhance and maintain the appearance of Lehigh Acres. Adopted
January 25, 2005
Our recommendations will
be developed with the advice and information of the residents of Lehigh Acres
who participate in our project and the cooperation of the various other
subcommittees. Our final long term plan when properly prepared in accordance
with acceptable standards is to become part of the comprehensive Smart Growth
Plan for Lehigh Acres as adopted by the Lee County Commission. This major plan
will become a guide and in many ways codify the development of Lehigh Acres for
decades.
Therefore we encourage citizen participation for the common good. We solicit the written comments and personal testimony of residents and the various organizations interested in the appearance of Lehigh Acres and the conservation of natural areas and wildlife.
